Tom Bond (Philadelphia, PA) was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Sharon O'Donnell and Kacey Wiedt (Harrisburg, PA) recently gave a presentation to representatives of approximately thirty municipalities at Penn PRIME's regional meeting in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Bruce Morrison (Philadelphia, PA) recently participated in the PaTLA Insurance Bad Faith Trial Strategies CLE.

Scott Gemberling (Philadelphia, PA) recently spoke at the 10th Annual Personal Injury Institute CLE on Direct & Cross Examination.  Scott also recently spoke at the "Down the Shore" CLE in Atlantic City, New Jersey, regarding Tort Law Update.

Chuck Craven (Philadelphia, PA) was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the Executive Board of the Council of Appellate Lawyers (CAL).  Chuck will also continue to serve on CAL's Appellate Rules Committee and as the Third Circuit Editor for CAL's newsletter, Certworthy.

Boyer, KimKimberly Boyer (Philadelphia, PA) was selected to co-chair the Women's' Way Young Women's Initiative (YWI) Voter Registration Drive.  In addition, Kim will be sitting on the YWI Advisory Committee, which is considered the Board of the Young Women's Initiative of Women's' Way.  Kim has also been selected to serve as a member of the Sandra Day O'Connor Award Committee through the Women in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  The Award Committee is charged with choosing the annual recipient of the Sandra Day O'Connor award which was presented at the Bar Association's Quarterly Meeting in October.

Cynthia Brennan (Philadelphia, PA) recently spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's CLE "Down the Shore" regarding Professional Liability.

Tyler Smith (Pittsburgh, PA) and Steve Day (Newtown Square, PA) recently presented a seminar to Gallagher Bassett Services in St. Louis, Missouri on recent changes in medical malpractice law and their impact on the handling of nursing home and other long-term care litigation.  The presentation was made to Gallagher Bassett's Long-Term Care litigation group.

Jim Pocius (Scranton, PA) and Michele Punturi (Philadelphia, PA) recently spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Law Section Fall Meeting in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Lary Zucker (Philadelphia, PA) recently appeared at an educational seminar sponsored by the Roller Skating Association International.  The seminar was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Lary's topic was the new Roller Skating Risk Management program which the RSA Board recently adopted as official policy.  Lary consulted with the Board in the development of the Guidelines.  Lary also appeared at the Fun Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada which is a trade show for the Family Entertainment Industry.  His seminars there covered risk management, sexual harassment and ADA compliance.

Steve Day (Newtown Square, PA) and Stephanie Rawitt (Philadelphia, PA) recently presented a seminar to Erickson Retirement Communities, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland.  Steve spoke on defending skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and Stephanie discussed employment law issues.
